This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it and what you can do about it.

Scope
This policy covers this site and the orders placed on it.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, the products you order and any order notes.
- Account details: your email, name, phone, a saved shipping address and a password stored as a one-way hash.
- Messages: what you send through the contact and wholesale forms.
- Confirmations: your age and research-use confirmation, with the time and a hashed form of your IP address.
- Technical data: your IP address kept as a salted hash, your browser type and the time of each request.
How we use it
- To process and ship orders.
- To email you about your order.
- To answer your messages.
- To keep the site secure and stop abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting duties.
Cookies and storage
We use two cookies, and both are needed for the site to work.
- ap_csrf is a security token that protects forms. It lasts up to 12 hours.
- ap_sess keeps you signed in. It is set only when you sign in and lasts up to 30 days.
Your browser also keeps your cart, delivery state, shipping method, theme choice and motion setting on your device.
During checkout it also keeps a draft of your details until you close the tab. For the open tab it also notes that the logo animation has played.
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. We do not load scripts, fonts or images from other sites.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We share it only with companies that help us run the store. These include hosting and email providers and shipping carriers. We also share it where the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax, accounting and legal rules require.
We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record. You can ask us to delete your account.
Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfect. We cannot promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Write to orders@appeptide.com.
We may need to keep some records.
Age
This site is for buyers aged 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest update.
